I don't see anything that specifies the height of this unit .... anyone know? ... ball park at least?

We have received your recent product inquiry regarding the height/length of a D1HT-25 heater. The unit measures approximately 10.5". These are sweet units that can be adjusted between 63-94 degrees.

Is this heater only for glass tanks? I have a Betta in a 5 gal. acrylic tank. would this be a good heater for my tank?

I was told by one so called "expert" that Betta shouldn't have heaters in their tanks and the contrary from another "expert"....my house stays between 65-70 degrees all year. Do I need a heater?

Hello B,
The LED D1HT aquarium heater will work just fine in your acrylic tank. Most fish tend to be comfortable in the temperature range of 76-82 degrees. While bettas can handle temperatures lower than the recommended range, it is not advised as their movement will begin to be sluggish and their digestive system may be adversely affected.

accurate, doesn't fluctuate

I like how safe the heater is. I don't have to worry about my fish cooking in my tank. I would like to see it in a smaller scale, almost didn't fit in my 2 1/2 gallon tank

I have been waiting for a Nano version of the D2HT Series and here it is; small, compact and super easy to use. Not only does it work great it looks fantastic in my aquarium!
