Great Product and Even Greater Service
August 15, 2013
I have two of these filters in a divided Betta tank. It's a 20 long with three Bettas and the 202 is on each end. The tank has two 3.5 gallon sections and 11 in the middle. I use the spray bars and point them to the back of the tank. This creates enough agitation for the plants but not too much for the Bettass. Overall, I am extremely pleased with both the filters and the prompt shipping from TruAqua. My only complaint would the be way the flow is adjusted. You attach one a piece of tubing with a screw valve on the end. Clumsy, impractical and ugly. So I didn't use it. Glad I didn't need it.
Pros:
Quiet, has spray bar which is great for Bettas.
Cons:
Hate the way the flow is adjusted. Without the spray bar I would have returned them.

using as secondary filter
February 23, 2013
as a secondary filter in a 30 gal tank, it's doing just exactly what I want it to do - 1)moving the water around to help the primary filter 2) filtering the water on the opposite side of the primary filter. It's working very well. I feel that if it lasts 2 years, it will have been a very good value.
Pros:
Easy to Use, Effective, Good Value, Safe
Best Uses:
Freshwater Tanks, Small Aquariums
