If there is anything further we can do for you please let us know.By Tomoya Takahashi from Michigan USA on January 18, 2012 Hello
I am interested in this product.
I have 30 x 18 x 24 aquarium with glass top.
I am wondering how install this on my aquarium.
It says the bracket extends to 27 inch but my aquarium width is 30 inch.
Does it have leg I am place directly on the glass top?
I would like to see a instruction if it will work with my aquarium or not.
Thank you. By Customer Service on January 19, 2012Answer:Greetings Tomoya,
Each SkyLED aquarium light includes adjustable mounting legs. The mounting legs are to be adjusted to the length of an aquarium and sit on the edges.
In your case, since your aquarium fall into a window of length not cover by the SkyLED Series and you have a glass top, the unit can stand directly on top of the glass with or without the mounting legs.
If you have any further questions please let us know.By Catherine from Phoenix, Arizona on November 21, 2012 If my tank is 48" long, can I get two 24" lights and connect them? Also, do I need anything additional to power the strips, or do they just plug right into the wall? By Customer Service on November 21, 2012Answer:Hello Catherine,
The Aquatop SkyLED aquarium lights are not designed to be connected to each other. Depending on the dimensions of your tank, you may be able to mount the lights perpendicular to the 48" side. We also offer a 48"LED light that may be suitable for you setup: http://www.truaqua.com/aquarium-plant-led-light-48-inch.html.
As for plugging in the lights, we do not advise using a power strip. Always incorporate a drip loop for your safety. It is also highly recommended to run your aquarium accessories out of a GFCI outlet to prevent electrical shock in the event that water touches the outlet.
Thank you!

By Monty from Denver on December 22, 2012 I have a 18L x 24W x 30 Deep planted fresh water tank. I am currently using 250W metal Halide lamp for it and want to replace with LED. Will the side by side 2 strip of skyLED 24" will do the job? By Customer Service on December 27, 2012Answer:Hello Monty,
Two Aquatop SLP-24 inch lights will offer you a PAR value in the low-100 range at a depth of 30 inches. This should be plenty of usable light for a low- to medium-light planted tank.
Thank you,

By Jorge from Guatemala on July 26, 2012 HI I want to know what is the maxium height with cover this lamp in reef tank? By Customer Service on July 26, 2012Answer:Hello Jorge,
We have received your recent product inquiry regarding the use of a 24" SkyLED over a reef aquarium. The SkyLED Series is not marketed to support photosynthetic life. Although if applied to an aquarium which does not exceed 18" they will grow low light loving coral such as mushrooms, zoanthids and most soft coral. However we are unsure how much usable light an aquarium cover will reduce.
AquaTop Aquatic Supplies does not insist that the SkyLED Series will grow plants or coral but we have many customer who use them on aquariums that house low light loving photosynthetic life.
If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to ask.Product Reviews:

Great Product!
November 27, 2012
I purchased this unit for my 20" high with various fresh
water fish. With the various light modes, it beautifully
illuminates my tank, accessories, and fish. I use all 3 modes for
different times of the day. The lighting is very full and properly
illuminates the tank. Unlike other led light bars that produce
spotty light beams, this blows them out of the water. Well worth
the investment!
Pros:Good Value, Effective, Easy to Use, Fantastic Product
Best Uses:Great For Any Application, Freshwater Tanks

Use the bright lights durning the day and the blue or
moon lights at night. The fish love the moon lights. Would be great
if they had timers you could use for the day lights and the moon
lights seperately. I have two 24" lights on my 55 gallon aquarium,
probably would have been easier to buy the 48" light but I thought
the canopy divider would block off some of the light. Have only had
them on the tank for about 3 weeks now so do not know how durable
they are yet. I do like the brighter lights, these lights make the
aquarium look much crisper. Beats bulbs anyday. Glad I made the
purchase!
Pros:Nice Brighter Tank, Easy to Use, Good Value, Safe, Effective
Best Uses:Large Aquariums, Saltwater Tanks, Much Brighter Tank, Small Aquariums, Freshwater Tanks

Love how much light this puts out!
September 22, 2012
After installing this light, I am amazed as to how much
light it puts out. The colors of my fish are so brighter than
before. I also love the red/blue combo for night. It changes the
entire mood of the tank to "Quiet time". Never had too much luck
with plants in my tank, going out today to buy a few and see if my
luck changes. I must have underpowered the light in my tank for
years. Really happy with the product. :D

Nice effects with optional switch control for mood
lighting. I laid this 24" led light across my 55gal tall aquarium
glass cover and I am quite satisfied with the look. Replaced a 15
watt flourescent light. In fairness, the 15 watt flo was a bit
brighter but the LED light beats it hands down.

I bought this item at local fish aquarium store, they
told me they just received last week. I love the SkyLED, just like
its name, it is bright, multi colors and don't produce much heat. I
can see my water shimmer, my fish never look so good in my tank.
Great product and I'd recommend this product.
