I was curious is there any filters to change on the ife30? If so where do you get them and how often do they need to be replaced. If there are no filters how do you can the unit?
By Customer Service on January 25, 2012
We have received you recent inquiry regarding the IFE-30. Each unit has four filtration compartments and includes two dense filter sponges, and two activated carbon cartridges. The filters sponges are very durable and should last the better part of a year. The activated carbon should be replaced on average every thirty days.
If there is anything further we may do for you please let us know.

I'm moving my 6" turtle to a 20 gallon tank, will this filter model be able to keep it clean?
By Customer Service on December 3, 2012
The IFE30 internal filter is very capable of handling the demands of your turtle tank. In fact, it’s a crew favorite. For the space in your setup, we recommend going with the IFE20. The IFE20 will also be able to keep up with the demands of a turtle tank and offer the turtle a little more room to move around. The dimensions of the IFE20 are as follows: 3.5inch diameter x 4.0inches deep (front to back suction cup mounts) x 11.0 inches long. Thank you!

Is the flow rate adjustable on the IFE-30 when not using the spraybar?
By Customer Service on June 8, 2012
We have received your recent product inquiry regarding AquaTop's IFE-30. When the Spray Bar feature is not in use the flow rate of the Water Curtain feature is not adjustable from the top of the unit.. Both the IFE-20 & IFE-30 have bottom mounted pumps which offer a bottom return. You can adjust the output of the Water Curtain feature by opening or closing the bottom return.
The IFE units have many bells and whistles making them one of the most versatile filters on the market today.

How many gallons is this rated for?
By Customer Service on December 27, 2012
For a turnover rate of about two times per hour, the IFE-30 filter is capable of handling aquariums up to 80 gallons. For increased filtration capacity, you could run two of the units to double your filtration capacity and turnover rate.
