I HAVE A 10 GALLON SELF CONTAINED TANK WITH A SUBMERSIBLE PUMP. I'M GOING TO USE IT FOR FRESH WATER FISH. WILL THIS BE SUITABLE FOR MY TANK?

We have received your recent product inquiry regarding the use of the NP-305 on a 10 gallon aquarium. Without knowing too much about your aquarium set-up and inhabitants, the NP-305 has an output pf 315 gallons per hour. This flow rate is very high for a 10 gallon aquarium. Your fish might be stuck on one side of the aquarium.
Depending on your application we recommend the use of a submersible pump with a lower flow rate such as the NP-80 of SWP-360. Either unit is suitable for use in a 10 gallon. Both units offer adjustable flows rates which will allow you to dial in the output which is suitable for your 10 gallon aquarium. Below are links to both product pages.
