Absolutley Soundless!!!
December 8, 2012
Product dimensions - 2X2X2 inches, or more precisely (measured w/caliper in inches): W-1.660, H-1.206 H(including bottom suction cups, and top water tube extension)-2.000, Depth-1.935 Tested in a container of water measuring 5" dia X 7" tall. Pump makes a little noise when covered with only 1" of water. Pump is absolutely silent when covered with 6" of water. Let me reiterate. I mean I could not hear even a hum! Pump has adjustment for water flow. I found that a noiseless setting was at about 1/4 turn from min. Makes a little hum below this. 1/4 turn to max, no noise. I didn't measure it, but adj seemed to decrease water flow by about half. If you are building a water-cooled PC, THIS IS THE PUMP TO BUY!!! (and I won't get in to why anyone would want to do this - plenty of info on the net, but lets just say over-clocking for gaming produces HEAT!) Most people will be buying this pump for an aquarium. All I can say is: it pumps 80 GPH(on max setting), uses 4 watts, comes with 21" of 0.200" ID clear vinyl tubing, a T connector, a bubbler(or maybe it's a flow dispersal). Electical cord is 5' - 10"( or 2" shy of 6 feet). Hope this helps the next purchaser, as I really was just buying an "black box" without the above info.
Pros:
Good Value, Soundless, Safe, Effective, Easy to Use
Cons:
None so far
Best Uses:
Water-cooled Computer, Small Aquariums, Freshwater Tanks
