You don't need to keep your UV lamps on all day long; usually a couple hours a day or only when the water starts to get murky will do. By turning off the UV light, you save energy and also make your UV lamp last longer.
How Long Will the Bulb Last?
Normal UV lamp life is about 8000 hours. Many of our higher end products that use UV equipment have an independent UV light switch so you can easily turn off the UV light. |
