The Aquatop AquaFin 8 Gallon Aquarium Kit (AQF-08P) is an all-in-one system built for wider display areas. Its signature curved glass fin sweeps from the filtration chamber down to the tank rim, and the open glass tank is viewable from the front, back, and end. Glass lids with mounting clips are included.

An integrated chamber at one end keeps equipment out of view from the front and holds a 3-stage filtration system: a replaceable filter pad in the top box traps debris, then bio rings and bio balls in the lower boxes give beneficial bacteria room to grow. A submersible pump keeps water moving through all three stages.

A 10W COB LED spotlight mounts to the back of the filtration chamber on a bendable arm. Its inline controller selects Warm (4000K), Warm White (5000K), or White (6500K) light, adjusts brightness, and sets a daily 3, 9, or 12 hour timer. Settings reset after a power interruption.

The AQF-08P ships in a reinforced protective carton and is backed by Aquatop's 1-year limited warranty. For indoor use only.

Setup & Care Overview

• Setup: Place the tank on a level, stable surface, rinse all components, install the filtration boxes (bio balls bottom, bio rings middle, filter pad on top) and pump, fill with water, then power on.
• Cycling: Run the system for 28 days to establish beneficial bacteria before introducing fish, then add livestock gradually.
• Maintenance: Perform a 25% partial water change weekly; replace the filter pad monthly with an Aquatop AquaFin Replacement Filter Pad (AQF-RFP); rinse bio media in aquarium water only and avoid replacing it unless necessary.
• Lighting: Set the color, brightness, and daily timer from the inline controller. Settings reset after a power interruption, so set them again if the power goes out.
• Electrical safety: Indoor use only. Use a grounded GFCI outlet, maintain a drip loop, and unplug before performing maintenance.

• GH-50W: Aquatop 50 Watt Submersible Glass Heater, adjustable from 68 to 93°F. Recommended for the AQF-08P when keeping tropical species. The heater is not included with the kit and must be placed in the main tank, never in the filter or pump chamber.
