Each pack holds three poly floss pads cut to fit the top filter box of every AquaFin aquarium kit, including the AQF-05P and AQF-08P. The pad is the first stage of AquaFin’s 3-stage filtration. It traps debris before water reaches the bio rings and bio balls in the boxes below, which helps protect the beneficial bacteria that keep your tank healthy. Replace the pad monthly, or more often if needed.

How to replace

1. Unplug the aquarium before maintenance.
2. Lift the top filter tray out of the filtration chamber.
3. Remove the used pad and drop in a new one.
4. Return the tray, then plug the aquarium back in.
